Aneurysmal bone cyst is a disease of bony lesion with benign but proliferative and locally aggressive characteristics. Spinal involvement has been less commonly reported. A 16-year-old girl who had suffered from this disease over the ninth thoracic spine is reported. Tumor excision, posterior fusion with iliac bone grafting and fixation with Harrington rods (from T6 TO L1) was performed on the patient. Postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy was also programmed. At the two-year follow-up, the patient’s back pain and gait disturbance had recovered and resumed a full daily activity freely.
