"Terrae Incognitae: The Place of Imagination in Geography", the most important document of John K. Wright in 1946 presidential address before Association of American Geographers, claims that "the most fascinating terrae incognitae of all are those that lie within the minds and hearts of men." Then, after half a century later, the various branches of geography have been widely extended into the "terrae incognita". But scientific geography, as the standard, paradigm, has rarely involved in the domain of "mind" and geographic pedagogy. In this article, the author goes back to Wright's address to rethink the possible meaning of geosophy and the alternative approaches of geographic pedagogy.
