矯正裝置治療後牙異常錯咬病患－Quad-helix裝置應用
Correction of Posterior Crossbite Malocclusion-Application of the Quad-Helix Appliance
摘要
後牙錯咬在乳牙及混合齒列時期為常見的不正咬合類型，治療後牙錯咬的方法有很多種，包括使用快速上顎擴張(rapid maxillary expansion)、quad-helix裝置、活動式擴張板(removable expansion plate)、牙齒修磨(grinding)和樹脂咬合墊高(composite onlay)等。本篇文章主要是針對Quad helix裝置治療後牙錯咬做文獻回顧報告，內容探討範圍包括裝置的演進與製作、臨床調整、裝置的優缺點與其作用等。

Posterior crossbite is a common malocclusion in the deciduous or mixed dentition. Various techniques of posterior crossbite correction have been suggested, including rapid maxillary expansion, slow expansion with a quad-helix appliance or removable expansion plate, grinding, and composite onlay. The aim of this article is to review the fabrication, clinical adjustment, advantages and disadvantages, and functions of the quad-helix appliance.
