Tuberculosis is a commonly seen infectious disease in Taiwan. However, primary tuberculosis in the oral cavity is uncommon. We report a 52 year old male patient presented with a 3 x 2 cm(superscript 2) ulcerative lesion in his oral cavity. No significant systemic diseases or past medical histories were noted. Under the impression of oral malignancy, he received an oral biopsy and the lesion was proved to be tuberculosis in nature. After diagnosis, the patient 1'eceived anti-tuberculosis treatment and no signs of persisted diseases were found after the treatment was completed.
