BOD (Book on Demand)系統平台開發之研究

本研究旨在將資料庫直接導向為出版品，藉由此項創新技術，使用者可以直接從資料庫檢索需求，接著透過本技術的系統來傳輸資訊，出版個性化出版品。而所建立的BOD(Book on Demand)價值鏈裡，出版品的原形可以是數位也可以是紙本內容，接著透過價值鏈中的平台服務，資料庫內容便可在選取過程中被重新模組化，並擁有新的配置方式，亦或是全新的內容整合。在完整的系統與流程訂定下，將可提高客戶所期待的各式個性化出版之需求，國內數位印刷產業則將導向數位資料庫整合出版。

A major innovation as well as goal of this project is to transform the content in a database directly into printed books. This innovative technology enables the user to search for what they want right in the database and transmit the information via the system of this technology to publish custom-made printed books. In this value chain of Book on Demand (BOD), the prototype of a printed book can be either digital or in paper format. Through the platform services in the value chain, the content of the database can be demodulated in the process of selection and rearranged to show a new layout or integrated in a brand new way. The complete system structure and flow process will allow the enterprises to meet a wide range of customers´ demands for various print matters. The digital publishing industry in Taiwan will be able to utilize and integrate the content in the database for publishing.
