寡聚原花青素(OPC)增補對抗運動氧化壓力可行性之探討

摘要


激烈的運動訓練會使得骨骼肌肉的耗氧量增加,並且代謝產生超氧化物,增加體內氧化壓力,引起肌肉細胞損傷。多位學者指出黃嘌呤氧化酶是運動中產生ROS的重要機制,因此,如何透過抑制黃嘌呤氧化酶活性,進而減少運動中產生的ROS是值得關注的焦點。而寡聚原花青素(OPC)為水溶性的抗氧化劑。除了具有抑制黃嘌呤氧化酶(xanthine oxidase, XOD)的功能外(Bagchi 等,2000;Cotelle,2001),更較一般常用的抗氧化劑Vit E、Vit C、β胡蘿蔔素等有更好的抗氧化能力(Bagchi 等,1998),且沒有異嘌呤醇食用過量的危害症狀(Cotelle, 2001),相較之下是一個較安全的抗氧化補充劑。因此,是否能運用OPC增補以對抗運動產生的氧化壓力值得加以探討。

Strenuous training will increase muscle oxygen consumption and might intensify muscle tissue oxidative damage induced by the increased production of superoxide. Many scholars point out xanthine oxidase (XOD) is the important mechanism to produce reaction oxygen species (ROS) during exercise. Thus, it's a focus how to through depress the activity of XOD and decrease the amount of ROS during exercise. OPC is a kind of water-soluble anti-oxidative supplement. Not only has function of depress the XOD activity (Bagchi et al, 2000; Cotelle,2001), but also OPC has the better anti-oxidative ability than Vit E、Vit C and β-carotene (Bagchi et al, 1998) .And OPC is the safer anti-oxidative supplement won't cause symptoms like eating too much allopurinol. Thus, it's worth be discuss that whet her we can supplement OPC to decrease exercise oxidative stress or not.
