Two New Species of the Land Snail Genus Diplommatina (Benigoma) Kuroda, 1928 (Gastropoda: Diplommatinidae) from Taiwan

摘要

在台灣採集得到紅芝麻蝸亞屬二新種，分別命名為Diplommatina(Benigoma)shishanensis n. sp.石山芝麻蝸以及S.(B.)Shuitianensis n. sp.水田芝麻蝸。石山芝麻蝸主要特徵是2條襞板中的外襞板短，僅延伸0.125個螺層，內襞板中等，延伸0.139個螺層；最後的二個螺層有34-40條放射肋；口綠雙重。水田芝麻蝸主要特徵是2條襞板中的外襞板長，延伸0.167個螺層，內襞板短，延伸0.125個螺層；最後的二個螺層有14-30條放射肋；殼口五邊形；口綠單層。紅芝麻蝸亞屬過去在文獻中並沒有清楚的定義，本文根據過去資料以及新的發現提供一個較新的定義，並對分布在日本（2種）與台灣（5種）共七種的紅芝麻蝸製作檢索表。

Two new species of Diplommatina (Benigoma), D. (B.) shishanensis n. sp. and D. (B.) shuitianensis n. sp., are described from Taiwan on the bases of shell characteristics. Diplommatina (B.) shishanensis n. sp. is characterized in having two parietalis, the outer parietalis short with an extending 0.125 whorl, the inner parietalis medium with an extending 0.139 whorl, 34-40 radial ribs on the last and penultimate whorls, and duplicated peristome. Diplommatina (B.) shuitianensis n. sp. is characterized in having two parietalis, the outer parietalis long with an extending 0.167 whorl, the inner parietalis short with an extending 0.125 whorl, 14-30 radial ribs on the last and penultimate whorls, pentagonal aperture and single peristome. An updated definition is provided for the subgenus Diplommatina (Benigoma) that was not well documented. A key is provided to identify all the seven species of the subgenus: five from Taiwan and two from Japan.
