A micro land snail was found in Kenting National Park during a biodiversity survey in 2010. It is identified as a new species, Hypselostoma kentingensis sp. nov., and is described in this article. This new species is distinguishable from congeneric species by having 1. one basal lamella and 1-2 basal nodules between the lower palatal lamella and subcolumellar lamella, 2. weak and not flared angular portion of anguloparietal lamella, 3. slightly longer detached whorl, 4. smaller shell dimensions, and 5. a subcolumellar lamella.
