In this article, a new species of camaenid land snail, Satsuma wenshini sp. nov., from eastern Taiwan is established. This medium semi-arboreal and herbivorous snail inhabits throughout the lowland areas of Hualien and a narrow zone of Taitung. The new species is characterized by the morphological and anatomical traits and differs from another sinistral camaenid land snail Satsuma pekanensis with the stringent distributional disoverlapping.
