農家採用不同農業技術的影響因素

摘要

本研究以農業機械作為農業技術的代表，探討農業技術被採用的情形。研究目的為探討影響個別農民採用農業技術的因素，同時，比較影響個別農民採用不同農業技術的因素。主要的農業技術包括耕耘機、稻穀烘乾機、動力插秧機、水稻聯合收穫機和曳引機等五種水稻農業機械。所用以分析的資料為498戶農家的訪問資料。資料分析的方法則以邏輯迴歸和Proportional hazard model等為主。研究的結果顯示：年齡和水田面積對農業機械採用有顯著的影響效果，年齡較輕和耕作之水田面積愈大則對於農業技術的採用就愈大。推廣教育參與對於比較低價位的農業技術採用有顯著的影響，但對於高價位的農業技術並沒有明顯的影響效果。農民的採用動機對於其對農業技術的採用相當重要，即農民對於農業技術或創新物的認知程度決定了他對該技術的被採用與否。從農業技術總採用的結構關係來看，農民的冒險態度受到年齡，水田面積和推廣教育參與的影響。從農意願受到耕作面積、推廣指標和冒險態度的影響。採用動機則受到年齡、冒險態度和從農意願的影響。另外，人際網絡關係受到水田耕作面積、推廣參與程度和冒險態度的影響。支持系統受到年齡和人際網絡關係的影響。最後，農業技術總採用則受到年齡、耕作之水田面積、推廣教育參與和採用動機的影響。亦即年紀愈輕，耕作之水田面積愈大，且農業推廣教育參與愈高的農民愈有冒險態度，而且採用動機愈強，對農業技術的總採用也愈高。如果從農民第一部各類農業機械的採用等待時間來探討的話，影響採用創新瞬間改變率的重要因素有年齡、水田面積和採用動機。亦即年齡較輕，耕作面積大及採用動機愈強的農戶，等待採用農業技術的時間愈短，換句話說，就是愈早採用。

This study examines the adoption of agricultural technology among Taiwan's farmers by using agricultural machines as examples. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the adoptions of agricultural technology among individual farmers. The information of adopting agricultural machines obtained from interviewing 498 farmers is examined in the study. Logit regression and proportional hazard model are utilized to analyze the data. The results revealed that the younger of age, the larger of farm size, and the stronger of adoption motivation , the more likely and the earlier to adopt agricultural machines. The suggestions for policies and further studies are also included.
