The Diagnosis and Influence Analysis of Outliers in Multiple Regression Analysis

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the issue of outliers in multiple regression analysis in which the diagnostic methods and influence analysis of outliers have been included. An example based on the actual empirical data is provided for simulating the process of detecting and solving outliers' problem in multiple regression. The suggestions for treating outliers in multiple regression have also been formulated.
