本研究中取得10頭肥厚性心肌病(hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; HCM)患豬及20頭正常對照豬隻血漿及各心室組織,用於乳酸去氫酶(lactate dehydrogenase; LD)的活性測定以及心臟酵素(cardiac enzyme)LD同功異構酶Ⅰ(isoenzyme Ⅰ; LD1)含量和LD1與LD2比值(LD1/LD2)的分析。試驗結果顯示,在HCM豬隻血漿中LD總活性、LD1含量及LD1/LD2比值均與對照組豬隻相似,但是在HCM左心室、中膈與右心室組織中測得的LD總活性、LD1含量與LD1/LD2比值皆顯著較對照組為高。HCM心臟組織中存在較高LD活性之現象顯示在HCM心臟中由於心肌細胞的持續受損,因而代謝產生較多的LD。HCM心肌細胞受損的主因之一可能與局部且慢性心肌缺血(ischemia)有關,而此可能起因於HCM心臟中壁內小型冠狀動脈的阻塞病變。

The total activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LD), content of the cardiac enyme LD isoenzyme Ⅰ(LD1), and ratio of isoenzyme LD1 and LD2 (LD1/LD2) in both plasma and myocardial specimens of 10 pigs with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) were measured and compared to those of 20 normal pigs. The result showed that the HCM pigs had similar levels of total LD activity, LD1 content, and LD1/LD2 ratio in the plasma as those of normal pigs. However, there were significantly elevated levels of total LD activity, LD1 content, and LD1/LD2 ratio in the ventricular tissues of the heart in HCM pigs, including the left ventricle, interventricular septum, and right ventricle. The increased LD activity suggests the possibility of cellular-damage in the HCM heart accompanied with increased leakage of LD from injured cardiomyocytes. The localized chronic myocardial ischemia induced by dysfunction of the intramural coronary arteries seems to be one of the important factors of myocardial damage in the HCM heart.
