製漿廢液在木材染色上之應用

The Application of Spent Liquor in Wood Coloring

摘要


本研究採用拉敏、橡膠木、相思樹、紅柳按及白柳桉單板為試材,以製漿廢液(KP及SP)及分離之硫酸塩木質素溶鞭染色後,使淡色之木材,例如拉敏或橡膠木具棕褐色,似黑胡桃木之色澤,藉以提高其產品之附加價值,又可減輕部分製漿廢液之汙染問題。染色後,就染色效果,滲透度,抗水性及靜曲試驗分別測試,並與對照組比較,以明其綜合性效果,可做為木材在各種不同用途時,染色處理之參考,試驗結果如下所述:一、染色效果方面(一)處理液:以亞硫酸塩法廢液最好,硫酸塩廢被處理者其次。(二)處理方式:以加壓3小時者最好,浸潰72小時者較差。(三)試材種頻:以拉敏最好;橡膠木次之;紅柳按及相思樹較差。(四)固形分含量:KP廢液及分離木質素溶液均以10-12.5%為宜,SP廢液以45%左右能達理想之效果。二、滲透度方面:(一)處理方式:加壓3小時> 加壓2小時> 浸潰72小時。(二)試材種類:以橡膠木最易滲透,相思樹最難滲透。三、抗水性方面:(一)處理散之種類:以SP廢液最好,KP廢液最差。(二)處理方式:以加壓3小時者最佳,而以浸潰72小時者最差。(三)試材種類:相思樹最好;橡膠木次之;拉敏最差。(四)測試方式:褪色情況都以煮沸十分鐘比浸漬72小時為嚴重。四、靜曲試驗方面:(一)處理液:SP廢液處理者,靜曲強度降低較多,而分離之硫酸墟木質素降低極其輕微。(二)處理方式:加壓3小時者,靜曲強度降低較多,浸潰72小時者,降低極其輕微。(三)不論何種處理,本試驗試材經處理後,均高於用材強度標準。

Ramin, Rubber wood, Taiwan acacia, Red lauan and White lauan were used as experimental materials in this study. spent liquors (KP & SP) and solution of separated KP lignin were used as coloring agents. After treatment the light colored woods. Such as Ramin or Rubber wood, became brown or Blaok walnut like color so as to increase the additional value of products and also reduce the pollution problem of spent liquor. In terms of coloring effect, penetration, water resistance and static bending test were conducted in order to evaluate the effects of various coloring agents under different treating conditions. The experimental results are summarized as follows: 1. Coloring effect 1) Treating Solution: The spent liquor of sulfite process is best, the spent liquor of sulfate process is next 2) Treating Method: Treating under pressure for 3 hours is best, Dipping for 72 hours is not very good 3) Kinds of Specimen: Ramin is best; Rubber wood is next; Red lauan and Taiwan acacia are not very good. 4) Solid Content: The proper solid content of spent sulfate liquor and separated KP lignin solution are 10 ~ 12.5% and for spent sulfite liquor the value is 45%. 2. Depth of Penetration 1) Treating Method: Treating under pressure for 3 hours> treating under pressure for 2 hours> dipping for 72 hours. 2) Kinds of Specimen: Rubber wood can be penetrated most easily, but Taiwan acacia can hardly be penetrated. 3. Water Resistance 1) Kinds of Treating Solution: Spent sulfite liquor is best, and spent sulfate liquor is poorest. 2) Treating Method: Treating under pressure for 3 hours is best, and dipping for 72 hours is poorest. 3) Kinds of Specimen: Taiwan acacia is best; Rubber wood is next; Ramin is poorest. 4) Testing Method: The decoloring effect was more serious when boiled for 10 minutes than that when dipped for 72 hours 4. Static Bending Test 1) Treating Solution: The reduction in static bending strength is greater with spent sulfite liquor, while with separated KP lignin, the reduction is very slight. 2) Treating Method: Treating under pressure for 3 hours, its static bending strength is reduced more than that when dipping for 72 hours. 3) Regardless of what treatment, the specimen after being treated in this experiment, its strength can all meet the standard of lumber's specification.
