PBL case study is using planned problem scenarios as teaching materials. The purpose of this paper was to explore the process in which a PBL case was written, collecting the experiences of psychiatric nursing teachers in writing the teaching case. The process and experiences were integrated and analyzed. The steps of writing a PBL case include identifying the main concept, establishing the main topic, writing the case problems, and providing the supplementary materials and resources. Finally, evaluation and revision are necessary after testing. Examples of teaching by case scenarios will be presented.
