摘要

中央行政機關組織機準法於九十三年六月二十三日經總統公布後，行政院組織法必須隨之重新檢討修正，不僅在部會數目必須依規定調整，部會內部單位及其所屬機關數亦必須一併檢討。於此行政院組織改造深受各界矚目之際，行政院各部會之消長，如何從大家所熟知之八部二會，演變為現今三十六個部會，本文特就行政院組織法制定公布至今之組織演進軌跡，以及政府之組織改革作為，作一歷史回顧。

In accordance with the Basic Code Governing Central Administrative Agencies Organizations published on June 23 by the President, the Cabinet can only consist of 13 ministries, four councils and five independent commissions. In addition, the internal unit and attached organizations of the ministries and commissions also have to be adjusted to meet the regulation of the said Basic Code. As such, the current 36 organizations of the Executive Yuan will face major organization structural change. This article will introduce the organizational change history of the Executive Yuan and the government's efforts to streamline the structure of it.
