微波爐應用於穀物含水率之量測研究

Moisture Determination of Rough Rice and Other Grains by a Microwave Oven

摘要


此研究中以家用Panasonic NW-7360型微波爐進行稻穀等穀物含水率快速量測之研究。以烤箱法所量測之含水率為標準值。研究結果顯示微波爐的輸出功率與乾燥時間為影響量測準確性的主要因子。高含水率的穀物較適用此項技術。利用420W的作業功率與14.0至15.0分鐘的作業時間,量測稻穀含水率可得到最準確的量測結果,量測值與標準烤箱法之差異為±1.5%。

Rough rice and other grains were dried by a household Panasonic NW-7360 microwave oven for rapid moisture deterimination. Moisture determinated by a heating air oven was used as a reference. As a result of the study, the drying period and power output of the microwave oven were the dominant factors to obtain the accurate measurement. Higher moisture samples had the better performane for this technique. A period of time from 14.0 to 15.0 minutes was adequate to determine the moisture content in ground state for rough rice with the 420W power supply of microwave oven.
