The Analysis of the Fast Neutron Cross Section of Iron

The resonance peaks of the total cross section of iron were analyzed by single-level or multi-level formula for neutron energies from 0.5 MeV to 1.5 MeV. The resonance parameters and the quantum states of the compound nucleus were suggested. The statistical distributions of the level widths and Ievel spacings were comuared with theories. The differential cross sections were interpreted by the optical model.
