The 23Na(d,α)21Ne reaction has been studied over the energy range Ed=2.00-2.60 MeV. The relative integrated cross sections agree well with those predicted by the Hauser-Feshbach theory for the states of known spin. The spin assignments for the 2.790 MeV, 3.67 MeV, 3.74 MeV and 3.89 MeV levels of the 21Ne nucleus are found to be l/2, 3/2, 5/2 and 3/2 respectively.
