Effects of Eddy Current on Domain-Wall Motion in Magnetic Thin Films

The eddy current effect due to domain wall motion in magnetic thin film is considered. The wall shape and the stray demagnetizing field has been taken into account. For a linear planar Bloch wall an analytical solution has been obtained using stream function and Neel's demagnetizing cylinder model. The eddy current distribution function, power loss and wall mobility have been calculated as a function of film thickness and wall width. Inconsistency in applying the same calculation to Neel wall is pointed out.
