We have studied the NiF2, crystal by the method of right-angle light scattering from 6°K to 300°K. The temperature dependence of frequencies, line widthes and integrated intensities of both one- and two-magnon excitations has been analyzed. The temperature dependence of frequency and line width of the one-magnon excitation agrees very well with previous far infrared absorption data. The temperature dependence of the integrated intensity of the one-magnon excitation peak follows the theoretical prediction. The two-magnon excitations data deviate from but fall between the two published Raman scattering results. The integrated intensity of the two-magnon excitation peak is almost independent of temperature.
