The process in which a spin-J boson decays into a spin-2 boson and a pseudoscalar meson is considered. Both the helicity and partial-wave amplitudes are expressed in terms of coupling constants. Simple relations among the helicity amplitudes and coupling constants are obtained, if we keep only the contribution from the lowest partial wave.
