Amorphous Fe72 Cra B14 Si6 ribbons were fabricated by the rapid quench method. Addition of Cr in the Fe-base amorphous material can improve its thermal stability, so we intended to study the high temperature properties of this kind of mateiral. The methods chosen for the studies in this respect include measuring electrical resistivity changes during crystallization both isothermally or nonisothermally, VSM measurements under the same conditions as those used in the electrical resistivity measurements, x-ray analysis after isothermal treatments and DSC studies. All results are discurred in relation to each other.
