Protonated rare gases constitute a unique group of molecules that attract a large number of highly sophisticated ab initio theoretical investigations. Among them, in this work, the lowest rotational transitions of ^(20) NeD^+ and ^(22) NeD^+ are measured with a submillimeter-wave spectrometer system for the first time. Also the submillimeter-wave rotational transitions of XeH^+ and XeD^+ for all the stable isotopic species of Xe are studied. All the data available for NeH^+ and XeH^+, the infrared vibration-rotation transitions and pure rotational lines in the THz and submillimeter-wave regions, are combined to derive the mass invariant Dunham parameters.
