摘要

本研究旨在探討台灣農業推廣工作的發展方向，經由農業重要相關利益者的意見反映，來分析其對農業推廣工作的需求，以提供檢討改進之建議。採用郵寄問卷法，其立意抽樣350位受訪者，回收162份有效問卷，回收率46%。針對農業推廣定義、機構、工作對象、工作內容、未來需求及政府應服務項目等，分別探討其內含題項之優先順序，並比較專業農民與推廣人員的意見差異，以及十年間需求變動的情形。研究結論與建議可供農政單位合理配置資源，及推廣機構擬定工作策略的參採。

The main purpose of this study was to explore future development of Taiwan agricultural extension. From the key-points of some agricultural stakeholders, the needs of agricultural extension were analyzed. The results provided convincing suggestions for further improvement. Using systematic sampling and a mailing questionnaire, the researchers collected the opinions of the key-stakeholders in the agricultural extension field regarding scheme of definition, institutes, target objects, contents, need assessment, and public services. The changing tendencies and preferred priorities from both professional farmers and extension workers were compared. Some research results and suggestions were valuable for public resources allocation and strategies implementation.
