Taiwan's rural rejuvenation policy has been in operation since August 2010. To evaluate its performance and prompt sustainable rural development, it is necessary to build development indicators for rural rejuvenation. Based on a literature review, 57 items were proposed. This study adopted the fuzzy Delphi method to explore those items. Finally, 24 items were selected, which according to experts' opinions, are important and feasible for rural rejuvenation. Then the Fuzzy AHP was applied to calculate the weights of every dimension and indicator. The results showed the most important dimension is the rural economy and industry development. The second most important dimension is rural nature and ecology. Based on these indicators, this study proposed several development strategies which could be used as references for agricultural authorities to promote Taiwan's rural rejuvenation project. It might also be able to help depict the future version of rural areas in Taiwan.
