神經胜肽Y在解剖、生理及藥理作用之探討

摘要


神經胜肽Y(neuropeptide Y)為36個胺基酸組成的神經多胜肽,在動物體内的中樞及周邊的組織中廣泛存在,由於它具有多種藥理作用,包括對心臟血管系統、内分泌系統、腸胃道系統及動物行為的影響等。更重要的,NPY被發現與兒茶酚胺如腎上腺素(adrenaline)及原腎上腺素(noradrenaline)共同存在於中樞及周邊的神經元和神經纖維内,且NPY也有增強原腎上腺素對血管收縮的作用。因此,本文有興趣將NPY的發現、分佈情形、中樞及周邊的藥理作用以及NPY的接受器等,作一綜合性的報告。

Neuropeptide Y (NPY), a polypeptide of 36 amino acids, was found in many central and peripheral tissues. Various pharmacological effects of NPY including cardiovascular, endocrine, gastro-intestinal and animal behavior had been mentioned. Moreover, NPY had been found co-stored with adrenaline and fibers of central and peripheral nerves. Additionally, NPY was reported to potentiate the vasoconstriction effect of noradrenaline. Thus, in this review article, we describe the discovery, distribution, pharmacological effects and receptors of NPY.
