攝取含膽固醇飼料之大白鼠體內脂質含量與花生四烯酸之相關性

The Relationship Between Arachidonic Acid Content and Tissue Lipids in Rats Fed Cholesterol-Containing Diets

摘要


本實驗係以飼料中添加膽固醇的方式來增加血液及肝臟中的三酸甘油酯濃度,再予禁食,探討組織中20:4 (n-6) 之變化與脂質量相關性。以28隻雄性Wistar大白鼠為實驗動物,分別餵以含膽固醇(1%)或不含膽固醇之半合成飼料,27天後,再將之分為禁食組與餵食組至28天,結果顯示肝臟的TG與其所含的20:4 (n-6)量成逆相關,肝臟的總膽固醇量與膽固醇酯中的20:4 (n-6)成逆相關;血清的TG與其中的20:4 (n-6) 並不具相關性,而是與血清總脂肪酸的20:4 (n-6) 成逆相關,血清的總膽固醇含量亦與膽固醇酯中的20:4 (n-6) 成逆相關。以上結果顯示經由膳食中膽固醇的添加亦會使20:4 (n-6) 組成與脂質具相關性。

This study investigated the relationship between arachidonic acid (AA) content and lipid levels in various rat tissues using cholesterol feeding. Twenty-eight Wistar rats weighing about 180 g were divided into 4 groups. Rats were fed a diet with 1 % cholesterol (NC) or without 1 % cholesterol (N, normal diet) for 4 weeks. At the end of experimental feeding, two groups of rats were fasted 24 hours (fasted groups) and the others received the diets freely (fed groups). Serum and live lipid contents and tissue fatty acid composition were determined. A significant inverse correlation was observed between the AA in triacylglycerol (TG) of liver and liver TG levels. In addition, the proportional composition of AA in the cholesterol ester was significantly inversely correlated with total cholesterol in both liver and serum. However, serum TG was not correlated with its AA content, the inverse correlation was observed between TG and total AA in serum. These results indicated that tissue lipid levels had a correlation with AA content in rats fed cholesterol-containing diets.
