This paper proposes a new idea for a wireless charging method between two mobile phones. It adopts an oscillator in the supplying side converting its DC power from the embedded battery to AC power; a contactless interface consists of a coil induces magnetic effect in the accepting side which is also equipped with a contactless interface with a coil to induce AC power from the supplying side. The AC power is then regulated and converted to DC power, after passing through a voltage booster, to charge the embedded battery in the accepting side. The purpose is to extend the durability of the mobile phone’s battery by conveniently accepting extra power from other mobile phones around without resorting to wired connections. Convenience is significantly enhanced when compared with other the existing inventions, which rely solely on the wired connections.
