摘要

本文爲國內外背包客及女性自助旅行之相關文獻探討，主要分爲四個部分：1.探討背包客概念化的過程。2.分析自助旅行和半自助旅行的差異性，如何影響女性選擇旅行方式。3.針對自助旅行的特性，提出在自主性、風險承擔及性別差異的迷思。4.女性背包客對旅行真實的建構。國內外研究分別顯示，自我成長及學習是女性自助旅行的動機與目的。

This paper reviews the literatures of the Western and Taiwanese backpacking. By investigating the construction of backpacking characteristics, this paper analyze the model of backpackers, and how the way influence female's decision. However, what we are calling for in this paper is a pre-study to explore an understanding of how mobility can be used by Taiwanese female backpackers as a matter of choice of constructing their sense of identity and a way to break the stereotype of gender differences in tourism practices.
