盲、聾與職能治療
Occupational Therapy for the Blind and Deaf
摘要
盲、聾一向是國內職能治療師較缺乏經驗的治療範圍，但隨著愈來愈多患者涉及盲、聾的問題，職能治療師應該從其定義、障礙本身及所衍生發展的問題等方面，作一番探討與了解，才能針對患者的切身需要，擬定治療方針、設計治療活動、幫助患者發揮剩餘能力，踏上成功人生之道。

In Taiwan, occupational therapists always feel less experienced about the blind and deaf. As the cases with visual or auditory impairment are becoming more and more occupational therapists should increase their knowledge of blindness and deafness. Knowing the problems of those with visual or auditory impairment, occupational therapist can utilize the professional skills to help thesecases develop their maximal residual potentials for successful living.
