Based on the empirical research on electronic industry and Phalaenopsis (Butterfly Orchid) industry in Taiwan, the author deals with the shared logic of global economy in terms of globalization, that is, trans-border production networks. It also expresses the structure and dynamics of Taiwan's economy. On the one hand, this is a part of globally and historically emergence of the new economy, which is the imperative power through his pervasiveness, universality, and process-oriented character of the information technology revolution. The networking is the critical process to structure economy and society. On the other hand, the political structure and dynamics, the reconstitution of the nation state, represent an obsolete political ideology and create political uncertainty in Asian Pacific Region, which has been dominated by the international geopolitics, that is, trans-border politics. There are structural conflicts. Facing the changing millennium, the author points out the transformations of the state and economy are the challenges of Taiwan's society in globalization.
