台灣植物工廠現況與發展策略之分析

Current Status and Development Strategies of Plant Factory in Taiwan

摘要


植物工廠技術為溫室設施栽培技術發展之極致,具有碳足跡及食物里程的環保意義,各國均逐漸重視,更是目前台灣發展精緻農業中深具推動價值的項目。本文首先對各國植物工廠之進展與現況作比較,並針對國內外可用之技術與缺口進行盤點,然後進行台灣發展植物工廠策略之分析。目前台灣發展植物工廠的技術優勢在於結合已有之精密溫室、植物工廠的技術與台灣工業科技優勢,針對降低成本、產品價值提升、栽培環境最適化、產率與良率最大化等範疇,進行更進一步的技術開發。目前植物工廠關鍵技術雖已有相當的掌握,但仍有些限制因子須加以突破,包括人工光源更優化、空間均勻性之環境控制、以植物生理需求為導向之環境管理、營養液之即時管理、系統整合、省工化與自動化、能源利用的最大化、生產作物多樣化等都是仍待積極努力之處。植物工廠的成功不僅取決於技術的改進和整合,更需制度與政策的支持,以及相關人才之培育,才能確保植物工廠之成功與落實。

From technology point of view, plant factory could be regarded as the ultimate extension of protective cultivation. Plant factory production has the significance of environmental concerns, such as carbon footprint and food mileage. This study compared the current status and progress of plant factory in the world, examined the available technologies and limiting factors, and analyzed the development strategies of plant factory in Taiwan. Key technologies on cost reduction, enhancement of produce values, optimized cultural environment, maximized productivity, and effective marketing are very important for the success of plant factory by the integration of industrial and agricultural superior technologies in Taiwan. Some limiting factors of plant factory technologies need to be identified for the future improvements; these items include optimization of artificial lighting, spatial uniformity of environment conditions, environment management toward plant-oriented physiological demands, real-time management of nutrient solution, system integration, labor-saving and automation. In addition, the adoption of green energy and energy-saving technologies into plant factory design becomes a must in the future. In sum, the success of plant factory depends on not only improvements and integration of technologies, but also the support from education, systems and policies.
