摘要
軟骨瘤常發生於身體骨骼之長骨端及關節部位。較常源自於相關骨組織的軟骨瘤通稱爲骨軟骨瘤；而骨外軟骨瘤則又稱爲軟組織軟骨瘤，爲一種相對罕見的良性軟骨瘤，發生位置通常鄰近而非源自於相關的骨或軟骨組織。發生於頭頸部之骨外軟骨瘤仍屬少見，其中腮腺之骨外軟骨瘤更爲罕見。本院於2006年2月間經歷一名28歲男性病患，主訴爲左側耳下腫塊發現已有10年，生長速度極爲緩慢。此腫塊大小約3×3cm，並無明顯壓痛、局部發熱、牙關緊閉或顏面神經麻痺之情形。電腦斷層掃描檢查顯示左側腮腺淺葉部有邊緣規則，外層部分鈣化之軟組織腫塊。在臆測腮腺腫瘤的診斷下，安排腮腺腫瘤切除手術。組織病理學及免疫組織化學染色檢查證實爲腮腺骨外軟骨瘤。術後病患追蹤至今15個月並無局部復發之現象。

Cartilaginous tumors commonly occur adjacent to long bones or joints of the human body. Most cartilaginous tumors are skeletal chondroma, which occur in bony or cartilaginous tissue. Those originating from neither bony nor cartilaginous tissues are termed extraskeletal chondroma or soft-tissue condroma and are much less common than skeletal chondroma. Extraskeletal chondroma seldom occurs in the head and neck region. Parotid extraskeletal chondroma is extremely rare. This report describes a 28-year-old male presenting with a left infra-auricular mass for more than a decade. Physical examination revealed a 3 × 3 cm, painless, firm, mobile and nonfluctuant mass in the region of left parotid gland. No tenderness, local heat, trismus or facial palsy was noted. CT scan revealed a well-defined soft tissue mass with rim calcification was noted in the superficial lobe of left parotid gland. Under the impression of parotid tumor, superficial parotidectomy was carried out. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical studies confirmed the diagnosis of parotid extraskeletal chondroma. There has been no evidence of local recurrence after a follow-up period of 15 months.
