多發閃現性白點症候群－病例報告與文獻回顧
Multiple Evanescent White Dot Syndrome (Cases Report and Review of Literature)
摘要
本文提出於80年3月至82年9月發生的四例多發閃現性白點症候群(Multiple evanescent white-dot syndrome)，此四例的主訴均為單側的急性視力模糊，無其他身體上的不適（僅一例在兩週前有過感冒症狀），眼底檢查則四例均發現許多白色小點，以及黃斑部的顆粒狀變化(macular granularity)。螢光眼底攝影可見病變處早期的高度螢光(hyperfluorescence)及晚期的螢光染色(late staining)。視網膜電圖、眼電圖及視野均有異常。數週後病人視力均恢復正常，白點也消失不見。比較特別的是，這四例均有高度近視，且三例有傾斜的視神經盤。本文同時以此四例與以往國內文獻之六例作綜合分析，並與國外文獻作一比較。

From 1991 to 1993, four cases of MEWDS were collected. All patients were young and healthy with unilateral acute visual loss. Common manifestations included multiple white dots at RPE level; macular granularity; enlarged blind spot and abnormal ERG & EOG. Fluorescein angiography showed hyperfluorescence with late staining of the lesion. All those changes recovered spontaneously within several weeks. Of notice, all four cases were high myopic with tesselated fundus and tilted disc. Combined with 6 other cases reported in literature in this country, clinical characteristics of MEWDS were reviewed and analysed. Compared with reports from other countries, our data showed more affected male patients and less bilaterality.
