離散多載波(Discrete multitone, DMT)[1][2]調變技術是目前絕大多數非對稱性用戶迴路(Asymmetrical digital subscriber line, ADSL)系統所採用的技術,這個技術把數位傳輸的所有技術如調變解調、編碼解碼、及時域和頻域等化器加以整合應用,將傳統最高只能傳送64k資料的電話線,提升數倍至數百倍,如果距離不長,甚至可以到上千倍的範圍。本文將研究探討DMT調變解調技術,並利用模擬的方法驗證不同的環境下,能夠傳送速率的上限。
Discrete multitone (DMT) [1][2]modulation is the technology selected for most ADSL systems In this paper, we proposed a concept to upgrade this DMT-based ADSL system to the very high bit-rate DSL (VDSL) transmission data rate by increasing the sampling rate. In this part, we also investigated the throughput of DMT-based VDSL system at high sampling rates under the influenced of various noises/interferences. Finally, the throughput limitation of the VDSL system is discussed and the optimal solutions of the sampling rates under various test loop lengths and environment conditions are investigated.
