論臺灣閩南語歌仔冊的漢字書寫-以《僥倖錢開食了歌》為例

A Study of the Chinese Character Written of Kua^1-A^2-Cheh^4歌仔冊in Taiwanese Southern Min Dialect

摘要


本文嘗試以《僥倖錢開食了歌》九個版本為例,透過「形音義的關係:一致性」及「形音義的關係:連貫性」這兩個論題,對歌仔冊的書寫文字進行觀察和比較,並從中歸納出具有普遍性的現象。 歌仔冊的漢字選用多以社會通用性、音義易解性為主要考量;不過臺語文字未統一,往往形成文字使用上的任意性,導致有同一個文字符號表示許多不同的詞群,或同一個詞群用不同的文字符號表達的情形。此外,從歷時的觀點來看,《僥倖錢開食了歌》早期的用字較不穩定,中期最為混亂,晚期則較固定,一致性也較強。

This article explored ”the relations among words form, sound and meaning:uniformity”, and ”the relations among words from, sound and meaning: continuity” of the nine different editions of Hiau^1-Hing^7-Cinn^5- Khai^1-Ciah^8-Liau^2-Kua1僥倖錢開食了歌. With these two propositions, I concentrated on Kua^1-A^2-Cheh^4 歌仔冊in an observation and in a comparison manner, therefore induced to a common and popular regular condition. Most Kua^1-A^2-Cheh^4 歌仔冊in Chinese character written based on the social generalized usage and understandable words, sounds and meanings. Taiwanese character is discordant, caused to a wilfulness. For example: the same character expressed itself in various word family, or one word contains differences. Further, from the point view of diachronic perspective of ”Hiau^1-Hing^7-Cinn^5-Khai^1-Ciah^8-Liau^2-Kua^1僥倖錢開食了歌,” could be read: the character using of its early period, in an uncertain expression, of its middle period, show a confused situation; of its end period, could be seen a stability, especially a uniform structure.
