大學護生夜班實習之經驗歷程及實習需求

The Lived Experience and Needs of Nursing Students throughout the Clinical Evening Shift Practice

摘要


本質性研究旨在探討大學生夜班實習之經驗歷程及實習需求。針對10位完成文化程度班實習的大學護生進行濃度訪談,所有訪談內容均先經由護生同意予以錄音,於訪談結束後將內容逐句轉寫成文字記錄,並以Colaizzi現象學方法進行資料的分析。結果顯示,大學護生夜班實習之經驗曆程可歸納爲:不確定感、嚐試裝備自我、不相吻合感、努力適應晨顛倒的作息、努力嚐試自我紓解困境、完成及增強專業之認同感等。而其實習需求則爲:指導者良好 的教學態度、良好的臨床角色模範及適時合宜的支持等。本研究結果隊了可深入了解大學護生初次文化程度班實習之經驗曆程及需求,以做爲本土化護理臨床教學之參攷外;亦可經由此初步之探討做爲往後進一步研究之方向及依據。

The purpose of this paper was to deeply explore the lived experience and needs of nursing students who have just finished the clinical evening shift practice. As each student completed the course of clinical practice, the researcher conducted an in-depth interview with her to elucidate her objective experience. The interview was tape-recorded, and then transcribed as a narrative verbal process recording. Then the record was analyzed by using Colaizzis phenomenological methodology. The results showed that the lived experience of nursing students throughout the evening shift practice could be inductively categorized as follows: sense of uncertainty, trying to equip self, trying to adapt to the life of day-night reversal, sense of mis-matchedness, trying to solve the problems independently, sense of accomplishment and strengthening identification with profession. These findings suggest that the needs of nursing students during the clinical evening shift practice are appropriate teaching attitudes of instructors, professional clinical role models, and appropriate support. These results and findings may be applied as advice and references for nursing education and clinical practice.
