Single Dose Administration in A Patient with Inter-Ictal and Immediate Post-Ictal 99mtc-HMPAO Brain SPECT Studies
摘要
一位二十歲的男性患者因癲癇症接受鎝-99m-HMPAO腦部單光子斷層造影檢查。患者在檢查完畢，移下檢查檯送回病房的途中，發生另一次的癲癇發作；在未重覆注射的情形下，患者接受第二次造影。第一次的造影為發作間期影像，第二次造影則代表發作後期影像，由於影像表現相差很大，特提出討論。

(superscript 99m)Tc-HMPAO brain SPECT studies were performed to a 20-year-old male with intermittent seizure attack since childhood. The last seizure attack prior to this study was about 7 days ago. About 20 minutes after SPECT procedure was done, an episode of seizure attack occurred. Another SPECT images were acquired immediately without reinjection of radiopharmaceutical. In comparison to the inter-ictal images, the immediately post-ictal images showed multiple ”hot” foci. These two studies were performed within an hour with single administration of radiopharmaceutical. The lesion sites of brain were still demonstrated by the residual radiopharmaceutical within the circulation
