古地圖數位典藏方法與過程之探討

近年來，數位典藏工作受到圖書館與博物館界相當的重視，圖書館基於資料保存與提供資訊服務的目標，對於數位典藏工作更是積極進行。各類珍貴資料與藏品數位典藏方法與過程，在概念上是相通的，但在細部的執行上仍有差異。基本上，數位典藏的過程主要有四個部分，包括資料的整理、資料數位化（掃描）、詮釋資料建立及管理系統建置，本文即以古地圖為主，說明其數位典藏方法與過程，提供典藏古地圖資料的單位進行數位化參考。

Libraries and museums noticed the importance of digital archives in recently year. In order to archive the goals of information preservations and services libraries engage in digital archives planning. In concept the methods and processes of digital archives are similar in many valuable materials and works. It may be some technical differences in executing the plan of digital archives among valuable materials and works. Essentially, there are four major parts of processes of digital archives. They include materials arrangement and selection, materials digitalizing (scanning), establishing metadata and setting up management system. This article describes the methods and processes of digital archives of paleo-map. It may be useful for the departments that own paleo-maps.
