清刻本《墨池編》版本源流考述

摘要

康熙五十三年（1714）「就閑堂雕版」的《墨池編》，是清代以來《墨池編》一切翻刻、重印之母本。「就閑堂」本在康、雍、乾三朝均有印行，版式全同，唯有挖改諱字及增減序跋等局部改變。雍正年間，康熙版「就閑堂」本經過「寶硯山房」翻刻和改頭換面，形成新的版本。「寶硯山房」本與「就閑堂」本除了牌記和在不同時期為增加避諱而有局部改動之外，餘則完全相同。乾隆年間，因為「進呈御覽」使得《墨池編》各本得到進一步完善，此後再無新版本出現。《墨池編》的清刻本系統因為依據的家藏正本「為鼠殘闕」，再加上整理時雜出眾手和據以參校的版本本身也存在問題等原因，文獻價值難厭人意。

The block-printed edition of Mochi Bian, published by Jiuxiantang in the 53rd year of the Kangxi period during the Qing dynasty (1714), is known as the origin of all the other editions or copies that have been produced since the Qing dynasty. The Jiuxiantang edition had been republished with minor changes, such as removing or altering taboo characters and adding or removing prefaces or postscripts, from Kangxi to Qianlong. During the reign of Yongzheng, the Juixiantang edition was republished by Baoyanshanfang with negligible changes in the colophon and taboo characters. During the Qianlong period, all editions of Mochi Bian had been proofread and improved so that a correct version could be presented to Qianlong Emperor for his review. From then on, no more new editions were produced. However, the original copy of Mochi Bian from an earlier time, which all the Qing editions had referred to, was unexpectedly damaged by mice. Furthermore, the existing Qing editions suffered problems such as mistakes caused by collaborative proofreading and deficient referential versions. Consequently, the reliability of the Qing editions for literary and historical studies is compromised and remains undetermined.
