The purpose of this paper was to conduct an analysis on the current physical education reengineering through an evaluation of physical education problems, an understanding of reengineering implications and basic strategies, as well as the introduction of US and New Zealand reengineering campaign trends and theories. The following conclusions concerning physical education reengineering were obtained from the analysis and observation findings: (I) Importance of goals and policies; (2) Set up a student-oriented reengineering system; (3) Pursue excellent physical education; (4) Implement performance management concepts;(5) Fine leadership skills; (6) Strength reform organization; (7) Operate to last; (8) Be critical.
