民眾關心之體育運動新聞議題分析──以台灣地區報紙讀者投書內容為例

摘要

本研究主要目的在瞭解，台灣地區民眾所關心之體育運動新聞議題，分析民國84至87年自由時報、中國時報及聯合報的讀者投書內容，研究結果如下：
一、體育運動新聞議題佔讀者投書版的比例為1.1％，投書時間集中在所謂運動旺季的7至11月。
二、關心體育運動新聞議題者的職業依次為學生、文教、自由業、體育界及軍人。
三、投書體育運動新聞議題者居住地點較多的依次為台北、高雄、台中、桃園及嘉義。
四、讀者反應在體育運動新聞議題上的意見以負面最多，中立次之，正面最少。
五、民眾所關心之體育運動項目（事件）依次為棒球、奧運、高爾夫、籃球及足球。
六、民眾所關心之體育運動新聞議題依次為政策法令、脫序行為、運動精神、訓練比賽、教育、運動安全、國族主義、司法。

The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of what sports news were people concern in Taiwan’s newspapers. The sports news articles used for this study were letters to the editor from The Liberty Times, China Times News, and United Daily News (1995-1998). The results are as follows:
l.The percentage of sports news articles in letters to the editor page is 1.1 percent. Most readers letter to the editor in sports season (month 8-11).
2.Most readers who concern sports news agenda were students; the next, culture and education workers; and then, writers and lawyers; physical education workers; soldier, etc.
3.Most readers who letters to the editor lived in Taipei area; the next, Kao-hsiung area; and then, Tai-Chung area; Taur-Yuan area; Jia-Yih area, etc.
4. Most readers have negative attitude on sports news agenda; the next, neutral; and then, positive.
5.Most sports event that readers concern was baseball; the next, Olympic Game; and then, golf; basketball; soccer, etc.
6.Most sports news agenda that readers concern was sports policy; the next, deviance behavior; and then, sportsmanship; training and competition; sports education; sports safety; nationalism; law, etc.
