河川底泥及魚體重金屬含量-笩子溪台中市段為例

Sediment and Fish Heavy Metal Concentrations of FaTze Creek, Taichung

摘要


河川底泥污染可經由食物鏈的傳遞轉介而影響人類健康。本文闡述笩子溪台中市河段之底泥及魚體重金屬含量檢測的數據,並用此數據作為河川底泥與魚體重金屬含量的相關性探討。底泥及魚體樣品採樣地點三處:兩大支流的匯入口上下游各一處(水堀頭一號及四號橋);工業區排水匯流處一處(筏子溪橋)。檢測時間為夏、秋、及冬季每季一次共三次。筏子溪橋底泥之鉻(Cr),銅(Cu),鎳(Ni),鉛(Pb),鋅(Zn),及錳(Mn)較高濃度(第二次)分別為162.5,102.7,133.5,33.8,560.0及1020.0 mg/kg;水堀頭一橋之底泥Cr,Cu,Ni,Pb,Zn及Mn較高濃度(第三次)分別為45.0,75.0,44.6,21.8,202.0及404.0 mg/kg;水堀頭四橋底泥之Cr,Cu,Ni,Pb,Zn及Mn較高濃度(第二次)分別為188.0,194.0,190.0,30.5,429.5及880.0 mg/kg。鎘(Cd)皆低於偵測極限。底泥重金屬Mn和Zn的濃度在各點略高;時間方面,大致是秋季(逢雨)比其他時季較高。魚體重金屬含量(濃度)以銅、鋅、錳濃度高。魚體與底泥重金屬含量的整體相關性,尚需更多數據才得以作成統計分析。

Sediment pollution may affect human health through food chain transmission. This paper reports sediment and fish body heavy metal concentration measurement data for FaTze Creek in Taichung, Taiwan. An attempt was also made in correlating the sediment and fish body heavy metal contents. The sampling places were one point each at the upstream and downstream of where two branches merge (Shui Keatou No. 1 (SKT1) and No. 4 Bridge (SKT4)), and one point where an industrial park waste water treatment discharges (FaTze Creek Bridge - FTC). Each location was monitored three (3) times, once each in summer, fall, and winter. Highest heavy metal concentrations for FTC were 62.5, 102.7, 133.5, 33.8, 560.0 and 1,020 mg/kg for Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn and Mn, respectively; those for SKT1 were 45.0, 75.0, 44.6, 21.8, 202.0 and 404 mg/kg, and those for SKT4 were 188.0, 194.0, 190.0, 30.5, 429.5 and 880 mg/kg. Cadmium was below detection limit for all locations. Seasonably, sediment in fall had the highest heavy metal concentrations, which coincided with major rainstorms. Fish body heavy metal levels (concentrations) for Cu, Zn and Mn were high. Correlations between heavy metals in sediment and fish body require additional data for a reliable statistical analysis.
