摘要

本研究主要目的是探討8位父母在面臨早產兒時其心理反應及相關的調適過程。以質性研究方法收集縱貫性的研究資料，資料分析方法係以內容分析整合表(content analysis summary table)及持續比較分析法加以整理及分析。研究結果顯示：父母因喪失理想中的孩童，而引發其哀傷的反應，包括震驚、害怕、罪惡感、責怪他人、哭、睡眠困擾及辜負公婆的期望，再加上對致病因、病情變化及醫療過程的不瞭解，且無法肯定早產兒的癒後、對夫妻感情的影響及是否告知親友的疑慮，而產生一種不確定的感受。父母針對自己的哀傷反應且不確定感，其所採取的因應方法包括運用支持系統、尋求相關資訊、維持親子聯繫感、保持忙碌、倚賴宗教信仰及接受事實。

The purpose of this study was to explore the psychosocial responses and adaptation process of parents with premature infants. Qualitative research method was used to collect longitudinal data. Content analysis summary table and constant comparative method were used for data analysis. The findings shown that parents induced the grieve process due to the Inst of expected child (full-term), which included shock, scare, guilty feelings, blaming others, cried out, sleep disturbances, felt deceived hopes on mother/father-in-law. In addition, the feeling of uncertainty was developed due to the unknown of causation of preterm infants, unclear and unpredictable of illness progress, and the changes of spousal relationship, and did not know how to handle concerns from others. The coping strategies to adapt were establishing and support from social network, seeking related information, maintaining parent-child relationship, keeping busy, relying on religious beliefs, and accepting the reality.
