摘要

本質性研究主要目的是探討腦瘤病重母親照護之的需求。研究對象爲某醫學中心兒童醫院住院接受治療之腦瘤病童之8位母親爲對象，以立意取樣，採質性研究方法，依據訪談大綱作面對面開放式訪談。資料的收集方式包括正式及非正式訪談、參與觀察、研究員的反應性日記及相關病歷資料的收集。資料分析係以Miles及Huberman之內容比較法，加以歸納及整理。研究結果顯示：腦瘤病童母親照護之需求內容歸納出七項需求包括：(1)獲得相關資訊之需求；(2)滿足生理之需求；(3)維持心理社會穩定之需求；(4)尋求社會支持之需求；(5)滿足靈性需求；(6)家庭經濟支援需求；(7)如何告訴病重真相之需求。本研究結果可做爲臨床護理人員提供護理措施之參考依據，藉此提升臨床對於腦瘤病童及其家屬高品質的護理服務。

The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore the care needs of mother with brain tumor child. A purposive sampling was employed to collected data through face to face interviews. Data were also collected through interviews with primary care nurse, participant observation, researcher's reflexive journals and medical charts. Eight mothers with brain tumor child who receive treatment in a Medical-Center Children's Hospital were enrolled into this study. Content analysis summary table by Miles and Huberman was used for data analysis. The study showed that the care needs of mother with brain tumor child were categorized as following; (1) the need of receiving medical-related information; (2) the need of adequate physiological need; (3) the need of maintaining psychosocial stability; (4) the need of social support; (5) the need of satisfying spiritual need; (6) the need of financial status; (7) the need of whether to tell the truth to the child. The findings of this study provided qualitative for nursing interventions that could enhance advanced care for brain tumor child and family.
