摘要

研究發現，許多早期的帕金森氏症患者在肢體動作症狀出現之前，已經經歷長時間的其他症狀困擾，臨床上卻難以發現（例如：顱顏面的運動功能衰退，講話沙啞、音量減弱、聲音品質改變、咀嚼吃力），部分患者因口腔運動功能減退，導致個人生活，語言溝通，和社交互動產生變化，進而影響日後的生活品質。本文將介紹影響帕金森氏症口腔運動功能的重要致病機轉，以及早發的聲音症狀。藉由症狀的評估與認識，期待臨床專業人員協助提供患者接受早期的聲音介入治療與訓練。

Evidence indicates that voice and oromotor dysfunction manifest early, prior to motor deficits in Parkinson disease (PD). More and more patients are found to suffer from voice and oromotor symptoms before motor symptoms present. However, these symptoms are not only hard to identify clinically, but also bring negative impacts on social interaction, vocalization performance, and quality of life. This article introduces the α-Synuclein(α-Syn) pathology in Parkinson disease which affects oromotor function. Symptoms have been reported to occur very early in the progress of Parkinson disease. Therefore, early initiation of oromotor assessment and voice treatment is recommended.
