摘要

臨床上泌尿上皮癌（urothelial carcinoma，UC）患者，常常合併慢性腎臟病（chronic kidney disease，CKD）。相反的，罹患慢性腎臟病（CKD），甚至是嚴重度更高的末期腎衰竭（end stage renal disease，ESRD）患者，在台灣，也常常會同時合併泌尿上皮癌（UC）發生，這也是這些患者死亡之主因。此外，由於泌尿上皮癌（UC）的治療方法日新月異，大大地延長了患者的存活期，但卻因部分的治療方法造成併發慢性腎臟病（CKD）的患者之盛行率增加。本篇文章利用敘述性回顧，探討泌尿上皮癌（UC）與慢性腎臟病（CKD）之間的關聯性，包括：泌尿上皮癌（UC）患者的慢性腎臟病（CKD）風險，慢性腎臟病（CKD）與泌尿上皮癌（UC）同時發生的成因，以及泌尿上皮癌（UC）患者接受治療後之慢性腎臟病進展。

A bidirectional relationship has been observed for urothelial carcinoma (UC) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). On the one hand, UC, including upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC), is an important complication noted in CKD as well as a major cause of morbidity and mortality in these patients. Besides, improved treatment of UC has prolonged survival, but also increased the development of CKD. This brief narrative review focuses on the relationship between UC and CKD, the CKD risk in patients with UC, the therapies such as radical nephroureterectomy (RNU), and chemotherapy on CKD progression in patients with UC.
