低收入戶單親母親的復原歷程：論親子力量的影響

摘要

低收入戶單親家庭因為經濟上的弱勢，比一般的家庭有更明顯的脆弱性(vulnerable)，而低收入戶女性單親一旦落入貧窮，其他的生活問題也會隨之而來，包括子女教養、角色負荷、社會關係等等。低收入戶女性因為各種原因，從成為單親、面對生活壓力到重新肩負起家庭生活是一趟需要適應的歷程，在這樣的歷程中，除了政府和社會的各種福利資源支持，更重要的，是母親身邊不可忽視的支持力量。國內雖有許多研究針對單親母親的支持系統研究，但對於子女的角色一直是採取被照顧者的觀點，雖有幾位研究者提到子女對母親支持的力量，但對於親子關係之間的力量內涵一直缺少深入探討。因此本研究欲了解子女對母親的支持功能，採用力量觀點，探索低收入戶母親如何透過子女支持而產生促能(empowerment)、韌性(resilience)、成員關係(membership)、痊癒與統整(healing and wholeness)等力量內涵，以及這些力量內涵在母親復原歷程中所扮演的角色。本研究以立意取樣，針對四位單親時間超過五年以上的低收入戶母親各自進行三次深度訪談，並就訪談結果歸納出她們的單親復原歷程，分別為生存煎熬期、努力面對期、接納開展期三個階段，同時探討在不同階段，促能、韌性、成員關係、痊癒與統整等力量內涵，如何透過母親和子女之間的親子關係與互動而產生，以及這些力量內涵在親子關係中的本質為何。本研究最後也提出幾項建議，提供實務者在協助單親母親的工作上，如何去發掘出家庭中既存的親子力量，讓家庭除了接受外在福利資源協助以外，本身也可以鬆動出一些改變的契機。

This research studies how low-income single-mothers recover from living impacts from the perspective of strength. The conclusion was drawn from three times of individual interviews with four singlemothers. It is inducted that the recovery of a single-mother can be divided into three steps: survival, face and acceptance. In those steps, the parent-child interaction is important to induce the strength contents including empowerment, resilience, membership, healing and wholeness. This parent-child relationship can offer support in addition to the social welfare.
