淺談臺灣老年學及老年醫學相關研究所發展現況

摘要


隨著臺灣人口老化,社會需要更多的老年學及老年醫學專業人員進入服務領域。本文以文獻回顧方式,並透過網路資訊整理,審視目前臺灣老年學及老年醫學相關研究所及研究所等級之訓練課程發展重點及現況。並以情境相關課程發展模式(model of context-relevant curriculum development),分析美國及臺灣老年學及老年醫學近期發展現況,及所受到內、外在因素影響結果。最後,本文針對臺灣老年學及老年醫學高等教育方興未艾的發展,提出建言。

Aging society requires more trained aging specialists. The paper is applied literature reviewing and website searching to analysis the current state of gerontology and geriatric graduate programs in Taiwan. By using model of context-relevant curriculum development, the development and dilemma of the USA's and Taiwanese gerontology and geriatric programs are discussed. Future development of aging graduate programs is suggested.
