圖書館入口刷卡操作行為觀察之研究

The Observation Study on the Behavior of Card-sliding Operation to Pass Library Entrance

摘要


本研究利用環境行為觀察法與實地訪談調查,以雲林科技大學圖書館的進館學生為例,探討23個受測樣本在進入圖書館的行進路線與入口刷卡機界面操作的相關性,並以KJ法剖析其界面操作行為模式的類型及其集群關係。其分析結果可歸納出七種操作行為模式:1.不加思索型,2.快速順暢型,3.小心快速型,4.謹慎緩慢型,5.不急不徐型,6.慌張急忙型,7.錯誤連篇型等;並由此群聚出四個集群關係,包括1.類型的空間配置與指標圖解順序關係,2.行為表層相似關係,3.行為隱層相似關係,4.行為與速度的對比關係等。 本研究結果初步發現:1.個人對電子機器的熟悉度與身上裝備的多寡,都可能影響出入口刷卡界面操作順暢與否。2.刷卡預備動作的快慢,會反映在空間場域的行動力與界面操作的行為模式。3.刷卡機的環境空間場域配置,確實影響個人在刷卡的預備動作與操作行為,同時顯示出集群性格特徵的差異性。

By using the observation of environmental behavior and the field interview, this study investigated the behavior patterns of 23 students of NYUST in sliding their security cards to pass the entrance of the library. The behavior pattern of each subject was recorded in an information card. Through the analysis of KJ method, these 23 cards were sorted into seven piles, corresponding to the seven different types of behavior pattern: 1. without thinking, 2. quick and smooth, 3. quick but cautious, 4. cautious and slow, 5. with full composure, 6. flustered and hurry, and 7. with full of mistakes. The deeper KJ analysis into these types of pattern revealed a 2-dimensional behavior plane to describe the behavior patterns. From this plane four levels of relationship among these types can be deducted: 1. the relation of coordinate location and order, 2. the relation of outer similarity, 3. the relation of inner similarity, and 4. the contrast relation of speed and manner. From the analysis of the relationship, this study concluded the following findings: 1. The smoothness of card-sliding operation in an entrance may be affected by the familiarity of the user to the electronic device of the security system and the amount of things carried with the user. 2. The speed of preparing the card-sliding operation will reflect in the behavior pattern of this interface operation and the mobility in the environment. 3. The layouts of card-sliding device in the space do affect the preparing operation and behavior pattern of users in card-sliding, consequently, result in different characteristics among various types of card-sliding behavior.
